What is Bobby up to?
Bobby Zarem A.K.A “Max” from A Goofy Movie is all grown up and looks unrecognizable from his days as a Disney Channel star.
Bobby was just 14-years-old when he voiced the role of Max Goof in the 1995 film, which followed father and son duo Goofy and Max as they set off on a cross-country road trip to prevent Max from missing his chance to meet the girl of his dreams.
Now, at 34, Bobby is still acting, but he looks very different than he did 20 years ago. In recent years, Bobby has appeared in the films American Reunion and The Treatment.
How has Bobby changed?
Bobby Zimuruski, or Bobby for short, was the deuteragonist in A Goofy Movie. He was originally voiced by Jason Marsden and Max Charles in the film. He is the son of Goofy and Mrs. Zimuruski, also known as Sylvia Marpole. In the film, he attends Lindbergh Elementary School with his father as his teacher. At the beginning of the film, he is seen as a go-getter and a straight-A student. However, as the film progresses, he becomes more and more interested in music, particularly heavy metal. He also develops a crush on Roxanne, which leads to him lying to his father about where he is going and what he is doing. This eventually leads to a falling out between Bobby and his father, but they are able to reconcile by the end of the film.
Since the release of A Goofy Movie, Bobby has not been seen or heard from again. This has led some fans to speculate about what ever happened to him. It’s possible that he moved away with his mother after she and Goofy got divorced. Alternatively, he may have gone off to pursue a career in music. Whatever happened to Bobby, it’s clear that he’s no longer a part of Goofy’s life.
